PASA panel to cover diverse public health issues
Join the Public Administration Student Association (PASA) on Thursday, November 7, for a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring a range of Virginia public health issues. The panel will be held from 5:30- 7:00 p.m. in Hibbs Hall, Room 407.
Topics to be discussed range from needle exchange programs, policies surrounding medical marijuana, and efforts to ban conversion therapy. Distinguished panelists include:
Banning Conversion Therapy
- David Brown, Director of the Virginia Department of Health Professions
Medical Marijuana Policy
- Jenn Pedini, Executive Director of Virginia NORML
Needle Exchange Program
- Joseph Hilbert, Deputy Commissioner for Governmental and Regulatory Affairs, Virginia Department of Health.
