Student Scholarship Deadline is Feb. 1
The L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs is pleased to announce scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year. These opportunities are provided to current undergraduate and graduate students through the generosity of alumni and individuals.
Applications for undergraduate and graduate scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year are due Saturday, February 1. While requirements and considerations for each scholarship may vary, students must be an enrolled Wilder School student for the Fall 2020 semester following the application deadline in order to be eligible. Please note that all applications must be submitted online no later than February 1 by 4:30 p.m., with the following information:
- A completed application
- An unofficial transcript
- Your resume/CV
- One reference letter from VCU teaching faculty (all letters must be submitted by the faculty member to wsscholarship@vcu.edu)
- One 500-word essay per scholarship describing why you deserve that specific scholarship
Additional requirements may vary per scholarship. Please check to ensure that all requested materials have been provided. Incomplete applications will not be given consideration. All applicants must have at least one completed semester of coursework as a VCU Wilder School student at the time of application submission. 2020-2021 Undergraduate & Graduate Scholarship Application
Scholarship funds will be awarded in fall 2020 semester. All scholarship application materials are to be submitted online.
