Amy Clifton-Mills is a Ph.D. student in the Public Policy and Administration program here at L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Amy joined the program after receiving her B.S. in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Old Dominion University in 2017 and her M.S. in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. Amy has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Wilder School since 2017 and previously interned for the Virginia Senate and Richmond Police Department, as well as working on a federal grant during her time at Old Dominion University. Her research interests include police and community interactions, police training, juvenile justice, and racial equity.
