Jeff Thomas is a native Richmonder and the author of "The Virginia Way" and "Virginia Politics & Government in a New Century." Mr. Thomas has professional experience from state and local political campaigns to national farm animal welfare policy. His other passions include journalism, animals and the Freedom of Information Act. Mr. Thomas graduated from Duke University and Tulane University.
