Kathryn J. Genthon is a Senior Court Research Analyst in the Research Division of the National Center for State Courts.  She received her B.A. in psychology from the College of William and Mary and her M.S. in criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since joining the National Center for State Courts in 2014, she has been involved in numerous problem-solving court evaluations, including statewide drug court evaluations, and the development of statewide problem-solving court performance measures for several states. Ms. Genthon has extensive experience in assessing and improving courts’ data quality and computing the statistics included in final process and outcome evaluations. Her additional project work has included providing technical assistance to domestic violence courts, the Court Statistics Project, the Criminal Appeals Project, and the Census of Problem-Solving Courts.
