Research Interest: Entrepreneurship in the under-represented communities, community engagement, and communication

Manika Avasthi is an experienced business faculty with a focus on business organization and communications. As a business communications faculty member, she assists students in articulating their skills to employers. She is also a successful developer of the service-learning model program to engage business students with community non-profits, resulting in practical experience for the students. Her areas of expertise are organizational communication and community outreach.  She has over 20 years of teaching and professional work experience in India, Canada, and the United States.
