Meagan Sok holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in public health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. Before earning her master’s degree, she worked in the clinical research field managing pharmaceutical trials. Sok currently works at VCU as a grant and fiscal manager for the Department of Internal Medicine and is pursuing a Ph.D. in public policy with an emphasis on health policy. Her academic interests include health literacy, health disparities and fetal-maternal health issues. In her spare time, she enjoys running the trails around the James River and participating in mud runs.
