Graduate Student Services and Advising

The GSSA mission is to support students through engaged problem-solving and administrative support in an affirming and trusting environment that encourages sustainable academic, professional, and personal achievements.

The vision of GSSA is to provide unparalleled service and consistently facilitate the success of our students.

Prospective students: Learn about our programs and admission requirements.

New students: Discuss course offerings, course sequencing and any orientation questions. The advising office conducts new student orientation at the the beginning of the fall semester and spring semester.

Current students: Meet with your academic advisor to review course options; requirements for programs, doctoral dissertations and graduation; teaching assistantships and administrative issues. If needed, we’ll recommend a follow-up appointment with your program chair for specific issues.
