Wilder School dozen to attend and present at 2022 APPAM
A dozen Wilder School faculty, staff, students and alumni will gather to present their scholarship at the 2022 Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) Fall Research Conference in Washington D.C. this week.
A perennial favorite for those in the field, APPAM, brings together public policy scholars, students and research institutes to share their insights on a wide variety of current and emerging policy and management issues. The 2022 conference will focus on “Advancing Policy Research with Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives” and will be held Nov. 17-19 at the Washington Hilton.
Faculty members Dean Susan Gooden, RaJade Berry-James, Sarah Jane Brubaker, Elsie Harper-Anderson, Saltanat ‘Salta’ Liebert, Grant Rissler and Blue Wooldridge will be in attendance along with doctoral alumna Marta Squadrito.
Student attendees include Chelsie Dunn, Keandra Davis, Amidu Kalokoh and undergraduate student Katrina Pazmino. Pazmino, a third-year undergraduate student in criminal justice, was selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of the association’s Undergraduate Equity and Inclusion Student Fellowship. The program recognizes outstanding students from underrepresented backgrounds and provides recipients with enhanced opportunities for networking and professional development.
Staff colleagues David Hayter and Katherine Huynh will also attend to support the school’s presence as an official sponsor of the APPAM’s Equity and Inclusion Meet-Up and as an exhibitor at the PhD Program Fair.
