Wilder School Alumnus to Address Graduation
Felix Sarfo-Kantanka Jr., Virginia’s deputy secretary of administration who earned his master’s in public administration in 2001 from the Wilder School, will deliver the graduation address on Saturday.
Sarfo-Kantanka oversees the operations and policy development of the Compensation Board, Department of General Services, Department of Human Resource Management and the Department of Elections. He previously served as legislative director to Gov. Terry McAuliffe, special assistant to Gov. Tim Kaine for policy and legislative assistant to former House Minority Leader Franklin P. Hall of Richmond.
Governor L. Douglas Wilder, the school’s namesake, will deliver remarks. Interim Dean John Accordino, Ph.D., FAICP, will speak.
Fall Graduation will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, beginning at 2:30 p.m. More than 110 undergraduates and 22 graduate students will receive diplomas.
